UCCCB was present at the workshop promoted by the REVIVING project

The University of Coimbra Bacteria Culture Collection (UCCCB) was present at the workshop “New Solutions for Recovering Critical Raw Materials” on 30 January 2023 at the University of Coimbra. This workshop was organized within the framework of the transnational project ERAMIN2 REVIVING coordinated by the CEMMPRE microbiology group. The REVIVING project focuses on mine tailing valorization through autochthonous tailing microbiome manipulation to promote metal recovery. UCCCB has been an essential partner of the REVIVING project since the beginning by providing strain banking. This partnership is a good example of the support the UCCCB provides for environmental research.
