UCCCB was promoted at MicroSummit 2022

The University of Coimbra Bacteria Culture Collection (UCCCB) curator Diogo Neves Proença promoted the UCCCB in an oral communication at MicroSummit 2022, which took place on 25 November 2022 at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. MicroSummit 2022 is a pioneering initiative of the Portuguese Society of Microbiology (SPM) aiming to bring together the academic and industrial sectors. At this event, UCCCB curator Diogo Neves Proença demonstrated the importance of the UCCCB as a biological resource center for the development of a sustainable bioeconomy. Among the topics presented in the oral communication were the UCCCB catalog, the services provided by UCCCB, the projects supported by UCCCB, and the collaborations already established between UCCCB and the industrial and academic sectors.
