UCCCB was present at Inovação@UC 2022

The University of Coimbra Bacteria Culture Collection (UCCCB) was present at Inovação@UC, which took place on 9 November 2022 at the Convento São Francisco in Coimbra. This event was an excellent opportunity for the UCCCB to get in touch with the outstanding innovation projects of the University of Coimbra, but also with innovation projects from several national and foreign companies and R&D&I institutions.

It is worth mentioning that Inovação@UC 2022 was attended by Dynasys, an electronics and telecommunications engineering company from Setúbal and a partner of the UCCCB, which presented the innovative NovirBox disinfection solution. NovirBox is a closet that ultrasonically nebulizes disinfectant for the disinfection of fabrics, clothes, and shoes. The UCCCB, taking advantage of its extensive microorganism collection, tested the disinfection effectiveness of the NovirBox prototypes.
